This week I am attending the NPower National Summit in Seattle. This is my first trip to the Emerald City, and I'm amazed by the scenery. And with a healthy dose of jet-lag, I'm seeing quite a bit of it
The conference has been held at Microsoft's Redmond campus -- which for a first time visitor -- is pretty impressive. We were welcomed by Microsoft's Kevin Johnson, a senior executive and founding board member of NPower. That got things started off well.
I didn't expect to be able to contribute too much to the sessions, but I definitely learned quite a bit and achieved my goal of meeting everyone who attended.
My biggest takeaway from the week in Seattle was this: Across the nation, NPower is comprised of over 120 bright, committed professionals who are dedicated to helping their communities. It's going to be enjoyable working with this group.
